- main road continues from Mossman to an elite 18-hole country golf course and Whyanbeel Valley, with its
- unique rainforest, heliconia farm and rare fruit farm. Mossman also lies at the foot of Mt Demi and in the shadow
- of the Good Shepherd, an unusual rock formation. Several wooden buildings of character line the main street.
