MILLA MILLA

GENERAL INFORMATION

LOCATION: 106 km south-west of Cairns
POPULATION: Approx. 300

Milla Milla is a small dairy town situated 15 km south of Malanda and is best known for the falls of the
same name located closely in the area. The Milla Milla falls is a magnificent sight of a clear drop of
water falling upon a glistening rock face into a pretty rainforest clearing. Also in the immediate area are
Zillie and Elinjaa Falls and together they make up some of the most picturesque views in the tableland
making it a delightful circuit for visitors. Lookout Points along McHugh Road also give some fantastic
views over the tablands. There's a small Historical Museum on Main St while down towards Innisfail on
the coast you can turn off the highway five kilometres to the Nerada Tea Platation. The factory is open
for tours daily except for Monday.
